Dr. Daphney Valbrun is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong academic foundation and a diverse clinical background. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University and went on to complete both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at Florida Atlantic University, specializing in psychiatric and mental health care. Prior to her nursing career, Dr. Valbrun obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Hunter College in New York, which continues to inform her holistic and patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. Valbrun brings extensive clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings, including medical-surgical care, step-down units, wound care, home care, and mental and behavioral health counseling. This broad background allows her to understand the complex interplay between physical and mental health and to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs.
She is deeply passionate about her patients and the quality of care she provides. Dr. Valbrun is committed to utilizing evidence-based practice to guide diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.
